Imam Khomeini's last will and testament - Part 1/11 [English Sub]Dec 14, 2011 On Saturday evening, June 3, 1989 (the 13th of Khurdad, 1368 corresponding to the 28 of Shawwal of the lunar year 1409) Imam Ruhullah Khomeini (SA), the great leader of the Islamic revolution and founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, passed away and joined the high heaven. At 9am of the next day in the parliament building, Ayatollah Khamenei, who is known for his beautiful Persian diction, read out Imam Khomeini's last will and testament to the Assembly of Experts, a body of leading clerics.
